Thorin dies. Thorin wakes up. He is understandably confused by this, especially since he appears to be in the Erebor he knew as a young dwarf, about to be attacked by a dragon. A time-travel fic with Thorin as the one living his life twice.

After the Battle of the Five Armies and return to home, Bilbo feels strangely restless. Well, the way his family tries to marry him off might be contributing to this. The One Ring decides it needs to understand its bearer better in order to properly manipulate him - the hobbit is proving unexpectedly good at resisting its influence. The road to East is long and this was never supposed to happen, but violence was never Bilbo's preference when it came to solving problems - whether he was aware that a problem existed or not. The Wise and the Mighty might say that everything has already been tried against Sauron, but Good Hobbit Sense and actually communicating somehow hadn't made that list.

To reclaim their kingdom, the Company of Thorin Oakenshield will need all the help they can get.

Dwarves do not marry or love outside their race. It would have been nice, if they could. It would have saved Bilbo Baggins' life, if they could. They cannot though, and will not. He will die of his broken heart, but he is mortal so it would have happened anyway. It's painful, it's disheartening, but it is reality. So Bilbo leaves Erebor for Mirkwood, to keep the secrets of his people safe and to spare the family of his heart the sight of his Fading. Then the true nature of his Ring is found out. Bilbo will destroy this evil before the Fading takes him. He can live until then, complete this task to protect the people he loves.

This thing started 4 years ago as a crack fic to amuse myself because honestly, dwarves are just ridiculous. As I returned to it after a long pause and it took an entirely different spin, a summary rewrite is a necessity. Bilbo Baggins had been touched by black magic. Her idle life in the Shire without any need to use her dark powers was turned upside down when Gandalf appeared at her doorstep to drag her yet again into trouble. But who wouldn't want to see a dragon? And the crownless king of dwarves wasn't so bad himself too. In hindsight, she should have just told the wizard to sod off. Thorin was quite ready to despise the newly acquired Company burglar, he was. Instead, he fell head over heels for her. Courting on the way to Erebor proves to be rather tricky when you're a directionally challenged jealous idiot and pretty much everyone ends up smitten with your One while literally nothing goes as planned. Throw in some dragon sickness angst, One Ring troubles, unexpected friendships and a lot of elves. Chaos ensues.

Ellie finds herself in a predicament. She's lost in the woods, covered in poop and the only person willing to help her is the same guy who held a sword at her throat. This practical joke isn't funny. Wait, are those dwarves? What the hell are hobbits? Where can she buy a toothbrush and can people please use salt in the food they serve? Trailer can be found here

So I have a prompt list. Several actually. And every day I write a short story based off my prompt word/phrase of the day. All of them are Silmarillion-related (dips into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings here and there). Expect everything ranging from utterly cliche romance to mildly explicit gore and horror. No one ever said Arda was a nice place. But do note that I won't be posting any smut here. Prompts are meaningful snapshots, and unless the sex is really important, I'll be skipping it to get to the point.

Sona & her chocolate lab, Sasha, find themselves lost in a strange land filled with dwarves, trolls, wizards, & elves. It doesn't take Sona very long to figure out she's in The Hobbit. Then when Bilbo never shows to join Thorin Oakenshield's company Sona realizes what's at stake - problem is, she hasn't read the book in 20 years, and never saw the movies. Legolas and the Arkenstone change the odds at the Battle of Five Armies when they become as One. Saving the lives of Thorin, Fili, and Kili, Legolas earns the respect and love of the Dwarves of Erebor, having briefly seen the whole of time itself, but unable to remember all of what he saw Legolas travels north after the battle and unites with Aragorn as his instincts urge him to. He knows that they have only won a single battle, and that worse is yet to come, he also knows that know he is bound to the Arkenstone and its infinite power he has a price on his head and his fate is entwined with the great war yet to come. AN A new chapter 24 has been added, I only just noticed it was missing. Chapter 26 is newly posted too.
