Centuries ago, marriage contracts were the norm — ready-made alliances between families, expected and complied with, without complaint. When Harry sits down with Malfoy, he's really only looking for a reprieve from the constant stares and whispers. (Mostly.) What he gets instead are a series of strange events that lead to a friendship that is something else, questions that nobody knows how to answer, and the realisation that the person that Harry doesn't know how to hate, anymore, seems to be the person who knows exactly what he needs. A story in which everything is complicated. And yet, somehow, none of it is.

"I think I'm about to die," Jungkook managed to gasp, feeling like he could finally breathe, hands coming to his chest to stop his heart from beating it's way out of his ribs. "I just met Jung Hoseok. And he growled at me." Jimin squeezed Jungkook's face hard in shock, Jungkook letting out a weak wail. "You met THE Jung Hoseok?? Jungkook, are you serious??" “Yeah,” Yoongi goes on. “So I’m suggesting—” Namjoon suddenly catches on, tries to stop Yoongi in his tracks, even though he knows that would be impossible. If Yoongi had his mind set on something, there was no changing it. “No, no, you’re not suggesting—” “—that we have sex with each other instead,” Yoongi finishes. Although he’s a bit pink in the face, he flashes Namjoon a smirk. Little shit is reveling in the fact that Namjoon couldn’t stop him from saying it. Everyone goes quiet for what feels like a full minute. Then Taehyung lets out a loud laugh. Jimin soon joins in, leaning all over Taehyung, almost falling out of his chair. When all Yoongi does is stare at them with a straight face, Taehyung stops laughing and says, “Oh wait. You’re serious?” “Uh, yeah, I’m serious,” Yoongi says, as if it’s obvious.

Harry’s not the kind of person who pays for sex. He really isn’t. Until he is.

He hadn’t meant to look, but once he did, he couldn’t stop. Izuku always knew Katsuki was attractive, in a sort of removed, passive way. He’s obnoxiously fit- with good posture and clear skin and those sharp, dangerous eyes. Really, it’s a wonder Izuku hadn’t stopped to stare sooner.

He'd say it was a success- but he doesn't actually know if it'll be more a help or a hindrance. Especially since Bakugou Katsuki is, well, kind of a shit.

What would happen if Ganondorf wasn't the real villain of BOTW? What if he was simply a Gerudo king with a talent for magic, looking for an alliance with Hyrule, destined to carry the Calamity in his soul- but raised by Urbosa, who prevented this, unleashing the Calamity upon Hyrule? What if Ganon was locked inside the castle with Zelda, holding off the Calamity for 100 years, preventing Link from losing his memories?Oh yeah, and his spell to make all the monsters less dangerous makes them want to fuck things instead of kill them. So there's that. Link is not going to be happy. Harry liked his life just fine, thankyouverymuch — so it was bad enough when a sly fairy cursed him to leap into alternate realities. But seeing Malfoy in all of them? Definitely way too much. Harry had to do something with his time in the summer after the war, especially since he couldn't sleep. Finding Sirius's old guitar and learning to play solved that problem. Now if only he could solve the problem of Draco Malfoy always seeming to find him when he played it. Or the problem of how he definitely didn't want him to leave when he did. Draco got lucky, he knew that - really. He was going back to Hogwarts instead of Azkaban. Now if only he could really find the freedom everyone kept telling him had. And if Potter could stop looking and sounding so damned good playing that guitar it would really help him do that. An 8th-year fic about healing old wounds, gaining new skills, and learning what's most important.
