Now that Harry is back at Hogwarts with Hermione for eighth year, he realises that something’s missing from his life, and it either has to do with Ron, his boggart, Snape, or Malfoy. Harry Potter is a dragon. He's been a dragon for several years, and frankly he's quite used to the idea - after all, in his experience nobody ever comments about it, so presumably it's just what happens sometimes.Magic, though, THAT is something entirely new. Comedy fic, leading on from the consequences of one... admittedly quite large... change. This largely follows canon in many respects, but a lot of the more dangerous events aren't as dangerous as they are in canon. Instead Harry has a comparatively normal seven years at Hogwarts, getting a mostly-uninterrupted magical education, which if you think about it is quite an impressive feat for an intelligent dragon. This fic features a broadly dotty but pleasant Dumbledore, Dean Thomas elevated to a coequal status of main character with Ron, Hermione and Neville, House Rivalries treated as a school in-joke, and a cast of many people who are not human. It also features Dumbledore teaching classes, though only once he remembers to tell people about the class.

During the battle at The DoM Hermione is captured and brought to Voldemort. When he uses Legitimacy papers to find her parents what he learns angers him. Hermione is not Muggle-born, she is his. Having no idea he had a child, Voldemort changes gears when it comes to the war hoping to gain Hermione's trust while doing so. Severus has feelings for Hermione that are, in his eyes, inappropriate to feel for a student. It doesn't help when Voldemort wants him to bond with Hermione to protect her when she returns to Hogwarts to play interference with Albus. Harry is conflicted when he learns of Hermione's true identity. Dumbledore isn't the man Hermione thought he is to be.

Harry Potter returns to school after a first year filled with peril, brotherly battles and a changing world. Conflict follows from school to Privet Drive and back to school, where an altogether too mysterious man of fame and fortune is their new Defence teacher - and it only becomes worse when the Petrifications start.

I got sick of seeing the same old shit, done the same old way, in Harry Potter Fan-fiction.So I decided to take as many new ideas as i could think of, while mixing in things that I have seen before in ways I haven't seen before.That means that while there will be graphic sex, among other things in this story, it won't be for a few chapters. The Veil of Death can only reap one soul at a time, so when Harry follows Sirius through in a desperate bid to save his godfather, it only reaps the horcrux out of his scar before tossing Harry’s soul back in time to the Marauder’s Era. Waking up as a new person with sixteen years worth of new memories was not part of Harry’s (admittedly rash) plan. Waking up as a girl, even less so. What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever.
