Wei Wuxian inhales the pink-colored potion fumes wafting out of the cauldron. "Whoa, this smells just like Lan Zhan's shampoo. Why are you guys brewing Lan Zhan's shampoo?" Jiang Cheng chokes. "Nobody tell him," Nie Huaisang whispers.

Harry doesn't believe his Amortentia's scent is correct, and starts questioning the potion and his feelings.Of course Malfoy, of all people, is the one to answer these questions.

Sirius Black realises that Remus Lupin smells like the Amortentia from class. He's quite surprised that he's not freaked out at the thought, and after spending the night cuddled up to Remus, he realises that he quite likes the idea of being with him.

“How lovely,” Sirius drawled sarcastically, slipping even further down into his seat. Why couldn’t it have been a deadly poison? At least that might come in handy later on, not that he foresaw himself poisoning folk. Honestly, though, a love potion? The girls in school were already boy-crazed enough to last him a lifetime. Merlin knows what adding the knowledge of how to make a love potion into their repertoire would mean for the lot of them. Certainly nothing good. “What do you think Evans is going to smell in her potion,” James asked him as they awaited the next step, staring longingly at the redhead sitting on the opposite side of the room. Sirius pursed his lips in mock contemplation, not that the daft fool noticed. “Hm, probably disappointment and dirty Quidditch uniforms, if it’s anything like your stench on a daily basis.”

Due to a Magical phenomenon, Harry is taken back to Tom Riddles school years in 1942. Harry's first reaction is to take Tom out and end the threat of the worlds most evil Dark Lord. But Tom has other plans in the form of Amortentia laced tea.
