Taehyung is a detective in a special government unit that works on big and dangerous cases. For a while now, he has been stuck on a case of kidnappings where the victims are betas with special X gene. X gene is very rare, betas who have it have ability to turn into the opposite rank of their sexual or romantic partners – when they are with alphas, their bodies turn into omegas’ and vice versa. Taehyung has the gene, but he hides it for safety reasons. Things get more complicated when he gets a new work partner alpha Jeongguk. Taehyung discovers very soon that his body has a very strong reaction to his new co-worker and while they are working on solving the case, they are getting closer, they even develop friends with benefits relationship and everything goes well until Taehyung gets targeted because of his X gene. Apart from the kidnappings, there are other mysteries that await Taehyung and he discovers that nothing is what is seems.

Post Civil War, things have worked out better, now that the world understands that the Avengers can be depended on, even if a tad (or a lot) unstable. Blame Tony for that. In the A/B/O universe, (my own take on it) an OFC is hired by Stark Industries for a low-tier job, but gets pulled in tight, mostly with Bucky, courtesy of their inability to sleep without nightmares and flashbacks. Angst, Comfort, mutual pining, and science technobabble follow with the other Avengers, who are quiet taken with the intense and intelligent omega. But remnants of Hydra, and otherworldly forces, see her too. AU-Tony is still snarky, Clint is awesome, Natasha is still a badass. And Phil Coulson is alive. I need him to be alive!
