Wild ones were even more capricious and could easily kill a human. However Jane took one look at the troll's lanky frame, unkempt fur and lackluster scales and she knew she couldn't just ignore him. The cooking genes in her were too strong for her to turn away the hungry.

The sheriff has been putting it off, he's rescheduled and cancelled and done just about everything he can to avoid it, but in the end he walks into that room with his head held high. It's not the first time he's done this, he knows the drill.
