Ozark Mountains
“Well, it’s Ozark Mountains, gotta watch out for the Howler,” Jimmy said jokingly. Beth rolled her eyes as Anna smacked her boyfriend’s arm. “Seriously? The Ozark Howler? What are we – eight?” “Come on, the stories were so cool!” he said. “Part bear, part panther, part goat. Glowing red eyes—” “Predicter of death,” Anna intercepted. “They say anyone who sees it will die.” “Again – it’s all just a story,” Beth said. “Besides, by the description, maybe it would look like Dan Stevens’ Beast from the live action movie.” “That would be nice,” Anna said dreamily. This earned her a playfully wounded look from her boyfriend.

Upward Over The Mountain
*the rape tag is for later and I will say what chapter it's in and provide warnings Seokjin takes his friends out camping at his grandparent's old cabin up in the mountains, far away from any civilization. It's beautiful, and the deer and other creatures aren't shy, making it an almost magical experience. They have enough food for two weeks even though they only plan to stay one(Seokjin tends to over plan) and everyone is having fun. Except Hoseok. He's convinced he's been seeing things. Figures in the windows, shadows at the edge of his vision, voices in the night. After his first night, he wants to go home. He doesn't, of course. "There's safety in numbers", a tour guide once told him in middle school.Everyone else thinks he's just paranoid. After all, he's always been a 'city boy'. But then, Taehyung finds something that leads him to believe there's more to the woods than meets the eye.
