Adaptive Quirk
Adaptive Quirk
Eraserhead went on a raid that night expecting the worst. Kids were reported missing. Quirkless kids. A case that went on for years was finally coming to fruition. A warehouse. An unsuspecting building which, from their intel and scouting, could house the missing children and the criminals responsible for this crime. Eraserhead has expected the worst. Starving children. Injured children. Even dead children. What he wasn't expecting was only one child. A hurt child. A child with a very powerful quirk. --- Izuku only knew pain for most of his life until someone saved him. All he wanted was to be a hero. He has the quirk to achieve his dream. His dad told him he can be a hero. But as powerful as his quirk is, there's a reason he has such a powerful quirk. He has an artificial quirk. And it wasn't his own.

Therefore I Am
Therefore I Am
Children grow up fearing the beast below the mattress or under the stairs, crouching in cramped closets and hiding in the dark alleys. They grow up believing their parents when they are told they can’t hurt you. Because monsters aren't real, right? Izuku is gifted with an odd quirk of sharp claws and glowing eyes- a target for cruel words and harsh phrases. Freak. Useless. For years, he longed for his power to one day evolve and strengthen- no longer wanting to be considered the useless freak no matter where he stood. Wanting to be more than something people sneered or raised a brow at. Only when his quirk suddenly bursts into something of pure horror, something more than the word freak, Izuku wishes he swallowed those words. Four year old Izuku feared the beasts bellow his mattress. He feared the monsters his mother tried to say didn’t exist. But as Izuku aged he soon found himself no longer afraid of what didn’t exist. But he feared what stared right back at him in the bathroom mirror.

I Miss the Moon
There are so many things you don't appreciate until they are gone—breathing when you've got a stuffy nose, eating when you're hungry, walking when you're paralyzed. For Peter, he never really appreciated looking out his window, or looking up while swinging around Queens, and being able to see the moon until it was stripped from him. As he lies against the cool wall that gives him the only sense of relief to the pain lighting his entire body on fire, his wrists shackled together and one ankle chained to the wall, he just wants to be able to look up and see the moon again. ___ Or: Peter Parker gets kidnapped and experimented on.___ This is a standalone fic that is a part of a series of unrelated fics where Peter Parker gets kidnapped.

Eleven Deadly Sins
Eleven Deadly Sins
Eleven was just one of, well, eleven test subjects. We know a lot about Eleven, and a bit about Eight, but what about the rest? What happened to them? Are any of them still alive? And, if so, what are they doing? It would be naive to believe that they would forget about what was done to them. It would be even more foolish to believe that the US Government would simply forget about a decades-long and incredibly expensive project to develop psychic warriors. Time passes, but not all wounds heal. As Shakespeare said, "Scars remind us that the past was real." Season 2 spoilers. Only rated Teen for strong language and violence. Nothing sexual. ***UPDATE!*** I've been going back over the beginning chapters (oh boy, they were not the best...) and making a lot of edits. As of 9/21, chapters 1 -6 have been greatly improved. Fixing mistakes, better formatting, fixing the tense, plugging holes in the story, etc. I'll be reviewing the next few chapters soon. If you feel like re-reading this story, do so in another week or two. It'll be better!!!
