It was the same sort of sense that he’d had as a child, when he’d walk into the house after school and be able to judge in just a quick look whether or not it was a good day or a bad day for his mom. Being at the BAU had taken that skill and refined it. Every single inch of Spencer had been screaming ‘bad’ ever since the team started this case.
