Bulma is abducted and forced to reproduce Capsule Tech. Vegeta is the last of his race struggling to endure a life of subjugation under his tormentor. There are rebel forces, intergalactic space battles and the retelling of one of anime and manga's favourite love stories. We are defined by the choices we make. That sentiment, though not original, provides both the title and premise for this alternate universe work about one of the most intriguing pairings in, well, the universe.

Young Gohan has no idea what madness has come into his life nor does he know if it's good or bad; what with a kidnapping/rescue mission and ending up on Vegetasei and all. Will he learn to act like his fellow Saiyans or will he hold onto his human ways? And what's this? The Prince of Saiyans seems to have taken a special interest in him?
