Bulma is abducted and forced to reproduce Capsule Tech. Vegeta is the last of his race struggling to endure a life of subjugation under his tormentor. There are rebel forces, intergalactic space battles and the retelling of one of anime and manga's favourite love stories. We are defined by the choices we make. That sentiment, though not original, provides both the title and premise for this alternate universe work about one of the most intriguing pairings in, well, the universe.

He is, by far, the quietest man she has ever met. A story about the friendship and eventual relationship between Vegeta and Bulma, and a character study of Vegeta through the examination of his childhood.
