Luffy gasps delightedly, head wiping around to stare up at Whitebeard with wide, excited eyes. “Ace tried to kill you too?!” he shouts. Behind him, the party doesn’t necessarily stop so much as pause, focusing in on the growing spectacle before them. Oblivious, Luffy continues on. “How long?” Whitebeard looks down at the young pirate captain that’s practically vibrating in place. Then he looks to the blond revolutionary that is also staring up at him, gaze considering and keen. Then to his second division commander who now has his face in his hands, ears red where they poke out of his hair. Finally, he glances at the rest of his children, out of loop and confused, yet intrigued, nonetheless.......Or, Ace dies (of embarrassment), Sabo is the dramatic middle child, Luffy is having a blast, and everyone else is just along for the ride.-OR, The family reunion fic that Oda was too much of a coward to give us.

‘Luffy’ shook their head in response. ”That's not my name. I’m Nika, it's nice to meet you.” Nami took several sizable steps backwards, eyeing the stranger with a mix of confusion, apprehension and intrigue. “N-Nika?” “Mhm! And I’m a God!” Nami short circuited. “AND YOU’RE A WHAT!?????” Now that their captain is sharing his singular braincell with an ancient god, things go about as you'd expect for the Strawhats. Just who is this mysterious entity that is now possessing Luffy from time to time, and what just happened in his past to make him this way?

Law is a medical student who is jaded by his past and too busy to think about arbitrary things like romance. That is, until one day while napping in the library, he is awakened by a warm hand caressing his cheek. The culprit is an undergrad student named Luffy who shows Law that maybe there's room for love in his life after all.

Losing everyone he held close after claiming the throne, Luffy falls into centuries-long slumber without realizing. Waking up, he has to face the unfamiliar world altered by time and historical events. That does not prevent him from setting new goals and waiting for those who are to come back, reborn. A familiar Phoenix with mutual goals is there for him to keep him company.
