“I am not planning on falling in love with you, Shadowsinger, if that’s what worries you — it’s just sex, nothing more,” amusement sparked in her brilliant teal gaze as she continued, “Are you scared you won’t be able to resist falling for me?”
There was more than teasing in her tone: a challenge. One Gwyn knew very well he won’t back down from.
He arched one eyebrow, his lip curling in a lazy smirk, “I do not doubt my ability to resist falling for you, Berdara.”
Too bad he was.
