“Pff,” he scoffed, covering his confusion with a questioning tone, “lame super-power that is, if I have anything to say about it” Tommy didn't have to think twice about his answer, shrugging.
“I'm human, who needs powers when you have pure skill anyway.” He replied easily, a small grin approaching his face as he watched the man look through every possibility. Phil took the bag wordlessly as he thought, looking down at his hands.
“Does that make me old still?” he questioned thoughtfully, though he'd already taken the free bag regardless.
“To me, very much so.” He nodded with a grin, fiddling with the pen from the previous day in his fingers, the man hardly picked up on it though.
“I'll see you tomorrow?” Phil asked, looking at the boy with a hint of satisfaction.
“Sure, but don't start showing up too often or i'll get bored of your company.” He scoffed, giggling to himself as Phil shook his head on his way out the door, it shutting with a settling ding behind him.
