Midoriya Izuku can see ghosts (and other supernatural entities). He could ever since he turned four and got his quirk. It's not the prettiest of quirks, and not even the easiest to live with, but for what it's worth, he's kind of glad he has it. After all, he could never regret getting to meet all of his friends, even if they aren't exactly alive (or even human in some cases). At least they believe he can be a hero. And he's certainly not going to betray their expectations.

Midoria is disillusioned to hero society after the sludge villain incident. He realises that hero’s are corrupt and blinded by their quirks. So he decides to change their view. Or izuku destroys society easily.
