“Are you aware you just hacked your way through our trial system?” Steve leant back in his chair to diffuse any tension.“Yes sir,” you replied calmly.“You’re unapologetic in the fact you hacked your way through our trial system?” Steve commented.
It wasn’t a question, but it wasn’t a statement either.You swallowed hard as you tried to read the room.“Was that not the test? To overcome the system?” You asked, looking between Steve and Pepper Potts.
“Our trial system is meant to be impassable.” Pepper stated gently, no anger or upset in her tone. “An impossible test. Rigged in our favour.”
