Bilbo is thought to have died during the Battle of the Five Armies, but in reality she has returned home to Shire, believing that she is forever banished from her friends sides and that they are far better off believing that she is indeed dead. However, her plans to remain dead to them are complicated by the most precious treasure a certain Dwarf King left her with and by a few friends who simply refuse to believe that she had truly gone from Middle-Earth.Bilbo believed that her journey was done, she had gone there and had come back, her story was finished, she had no idea that she had just walk headlong into another.

After the fall of Erebor and the tragedy of Azanulbizar, many dwarves have come to hate the line of Durin. After losing his grandfather, father, and siblings, all Thorin has left is his nephews, who are no more than toddlers. When the meddling wizard Gandalf comes to the rescue, he takes Thorin and his boys onto the backs of Eagles to a place far to the west, in a dainty place called the Shire. There are no words adequate to describe the Last Homely House or the wonders of Lord Elrond’s hospitality, which seems impossible to strain even under the burden of thirteen empty dwarfish stomachs and their even more trying attitudes. Having played hostess to those same stomachs in her time, Briar is duly impressed and endeavors to add to the burden as little as possible. This is made somewhat more difficult by the fact that elves, apparently, are better able to differentiate between hobbit gentlemen and hobbit ladies that dwarves seem to be. A fact Briar learned when Lord Elrond pulled her to one side after their meal and put her into the hands of his daughter and her women with a gentle smile. Briar feels that she probably owes him a swift kick in the shins for that.

Bilba Baggins, Hobbit Burglar of Erebor finds herself back in Bag End, young and healthy once more, she begins enjoying her afterlife in Yavannas Garden (the Hobbit equivalent to the Halls of Waiting) when thirteen familiar Dwarves turn up at her door, raid her pantry and start throwing about her dishes. Gandalf is convinced she's the right Hobbit Burglar for the job, but Bilba's done all this before and no one remembers but her. What's a Hobbit to do?

It's been thirty five years since the Battle of Five Armies which left Bilba exiled from Erebor. Now a lone figure stands nervously at the gates, unsure as to the welcome she is to receive. For the rest of Thorin's Company, things are about to get turned upside down.

Bella Baggins sacrificed herself to save the Shire when the dragon Smaug attacked. He used her to repair Erebor with her Hobbit abilities to fix broken things. When Thorin and his Company come to reclaim Erebor, there is no dragon, only a cursed Hobbit with golden dragon scales embedded in her skin. Bagginshield. Fem!Bilbo. Dragon AU. TW: Smaug is sadistic. Dwarrow women were rare- to the point that they could refuse kings their pleasure, where the men could not. During the quest in a company full of his cousins and nephews, Thorin Oakenshield decides to take pleasure in their burglar- a creature soft enough that Thorin can pretend the hips he grasp in the dark belong to a feminine creature. Bilbo Baggins doesn’t mind so much, being bed by a king of dwarves on the regular. She’s not as fond of bumming as he seems to be, but as long as no children come from it, it’s all just good fun innit? Still, it would have been nice if he’d asked first. Also, if they ever did it somewhere she could actually take her pants all the way off, that’d be nice.

They had made it through all the dangers of the quest only for the Line of Durin to fall in the Battle of Five Armies. When given the chance to fix it, even if it removes her from their lives, Bella Baggins jumps at the chance. Now all she has left are her memories of the quest, memories that the rest of the company have forgotten. But fate, it seems, is not quite done with Bella Baggins yet.

Briar Baggins stumbles upon a wounded dwarf one cold winter day and rescues him, bringing him into her home and changing the course of destiny in a matter of well meant hours!

Thorin sees Billa far differently after she saves his life. Billa's been seeing him a bit differently all along.

The Fell Winter destroyed Billanna (also known as Billa) Baggin's small hobbit family, as her parents were murdered and she kidnapped by orcs. However, she is saved by a familiar group of dwarves which, after deliberation (and Thorin's younger sister giving him grief) Billa joins the family of Durin. As the years pass, relationships are brought into light, and with quests thrown in, it seems a quiet life is a little hard to find for a hobbit among dwarves.

The Urge comes around a female Hobbit's coming of age. It is affectionately called Heat by some of the older ladies. The Urge provides an innate drive to find a partner she is most compatible with. This is done by hugging or pecking random lads or lasses, waiting for the Heat to strike and tell her she found her soulmate. Its a Hobbit's most reliable way of finding them. Only for Billa, she'd never felt the Urge.Until she was snatched into the sudden, grateful embrace of Thorin Oakenshield himself after he woke on the Carrock. Yavanna preserve her, now she understood exactly what the elder Hobbits meant by the Heat. She was burning with desire, pursued by thoughts of Thorin. She couldn’t possibly tell him without blushing herself into a bonfire, but fate has its own design and she needn't worry for long...

Billa Baggins was perfectly respectable. She may have adventured as a child, but she certainly has no plans to do so when she is an adult. That plan went out the window when a company of dwarves showed up at her hobbit hole, lead by the rightful king under the mountain. In the time that follows, Billa will tell herself that she ran out that door because she believed in the quest. And she did, it just helped that Thorin Oakenshield happened to be rather attractive. Billa wasnt about to admit that to herself though.

What it says on the tin; an AU/remix of my own AU, Billa and Thorin coming together after the events of the Carrock. Should now be considered the main Pearl universe. I'll be continuing the story from here. (You don't have to read the others to get this one. It depends on whether or not you'd like to see how I get all up in this remixing business)

Getting thrown through time is fun right? Getting thrown through time and ending up 30 years prior to when those blasted dwarrow show up on her doorstep should be wonderful no? It's not. It's really not. It's not like Bilbo has a choice though. She'll try her damned hardest to make everything end well. Even if it breaks her.

Or; an unexpected but much desired Continuation of an unexpected and at first not so much desired Adventure It is Bilba who wakes up injured after the Battle. Injured and thinking she has spoiled any chance at happiness with one King under the Mountain. Of course, Thorin doesn't hesitate to clear up the matter.

There was a strange, tall man walking up the path. Bilbo recognised him, of course; how could one forget that tall, grey silhouette now making its way up towards her? Gandalf. AU. What if Bilbo had already left the Shire once before? What if she had seen things she could never forget, and lived through things she couldn't speak of? In this world, Bilbo has a secret, a secret waiting for her in Rivendell, a secret that has changed, and will change, everything... Written largely because I had a cute, weird idea and a lot of one-liners I needed to put out there.

Where Thorin is water, deep and vast and unpredictable as the sea, Dwalin is fire. Or, well, something equally burning, for the passionate scalding heat of volcanoes is actually made of molten rock and stone (or so her father's books claim, and how fit would that be for such a rock-skulled dwarrow).Either way, Bilbo cannot help but think that it fits: Both of them are so different, and yet so very much alike - passionate, and forces of nature, and neigh unstoppable. And she is so terribly, hopelessly, ridiculously in love with both of them.

Fanart inspired my one of the most breathtaking stories I've read so far. She Walks In Beauty will immerse you in a love story that will make you feel it and live it as it were your own. Your stomach will feel fluttery, you'll be lightheaded and you may even feel the touches and hear the whispers close to your own ears. This story made me believe in love at first sight, and I thought that I should give something to Bead as a thank you for this masterpiece. Thank you so much darling!

Aderynrrowntree posted this gorgeous dress and mentioned that it looked like a Billa dress. My brain went DING. (Thank you to Merill for re-finding the link.) Billa decides she'd like something a little different to wear for the spring feast, a little project to work on over the winter. It, for a lack of a better term, snowballs. Could be considered a possible future fic for Pearl the Rewrite, I ain't promising, but it could happen. :)

The Battle is over, Fili, Kili and Thorin are dead. Bilbo is pregnant and needs to leave the mountain immediately. She wants to return to her home in the Shire, but can't without a husband. Balin helps her find a solution.
