Winter Prayer

Sam and Dean have returned from their honeymoon to enjoy married life back home. Sam has a late wedding present for Dean, and he's somewhat nervous about giving it to him. Dean sets out to show him he needn't have worried.

Every year, on the day of the harvest ritual, the village leaders chose someone at random to be sent up the mountain to be sacrificed to the dragon gods, to ensure that they had a good planting season and a bountiful harvest for the upcoming year. This year, Seonghwa was chosen to be the sacrifice. He wondered what he ever did to deserve a fate like this.

This tale will have occasional crude references/language by angry suspects or the occasional reference to sex, violence, drug use, etc. Sometimes mammals get hurt or worse, but I won't make graphic violence a heavy feature. This is not the central theme to Guardian Blue, but it can be encountered. There will be no explicit activity in this series.
