If there was one thing Harry Potter could count on in his life, it was a guaranteed lack of boredom. So, it really shouldn't have come as a surprise that as he was making his way through Diagon Alley to the nearest Apparation point-the one day a month he ventured out of 12 Grimmauld Place-that he passes by an altercation that was absurdly unevenly matched.
His whole world turns on its head from there. He just doesn't know it yet.
Ten long years have passed since the events of the war, and Draco has a completely new life, one spent mostly in the muggle world. He has a successful career as a paramedic, a rescue cat, and his mother is safe in France. What else could he possibly want? Sure, he is a little lonely, but that was the price he was willing to pay given his history.
That is, until an extra shift completely flips his world upside down, leaving him wondering if the world has truly gone mad.
It had happened in the library at one of the sets of couches along the back wall. He’d been struggling with an essay for Arithmancy while Theo sat beside him on the couch, relaxed back against the armrest, and reading a book for Muggle Studies. In a moment of frustration, Harry leaned back and ended up somehow resting on Theo’s chest rather than the back of the couch.
Or: The time in Eighth Year when Harry realizes he might have feelings for Theo.
