After an incident in which Marinette lost her parents, home and friends at a young age, she lost her trust in both the humanity and the superheroes. Marinette has been roaming her hometown of Gotham since the incident that stole everything from her. Every day was the same for her until one day she was present at a shady handover.

“Why are you making such a big deal over this?!” Peter all but growls, wishing he hadn't agreed to be trapped in such a small space with Tony. “Because kid, I made a promise! So it would be in your best interest to listen to what I have to say." “You mean your best interest.” Tony slams on the breaks, startling Peter. Cars honk behind him, but their complaints go unnoticed as he swerves to the side of the road, turning his head and shouting “What has gotten into you Peter?!” “What do you care?” Peter asks, Anger simmering and on the verge of exploding. “I care a lot. Now ‘fess up kiddo, or do I have to call May?” The car gets quiet, the low rumble of the vehicle mixing with the labored breaths of its occupants. Tony is glaring at Peter, who reaches for the door handle. “Go right ahead, won’t help anyway. Calling a dead person won't magically get them to answer.”

She didn’t know what she was expecting. Of course he wouldn’t want anything to do with her. His life was all planned out and they didn’t fit in any space of it. Logically she understood, but the thought of being pregnant and alone terrified her. “I don’t want you or the baby” he had said. So she had no choice.

His powers weren't easy to control. He would break small things like lamps, toasters, and computers. It soon became out of control. He would nearly electrocute everyone on the bus, in a building, or on the street. He no longer allowed himself to use public transportation, go into crowded areas, or go out in the rain. His entire world flipped. He was a danger. Or: Jeongguk can control and manifest electricity. After hurting Jimin, Jeongguk disappears for years until someone finally traced him down.
