When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself in his old bed in his old home in his old body. Is this death? Or a trick of magic? Either way, Bilbo recognizes a second chance when he sees one, and this time his adventure with Thorin is going to go a bit differently.

“I just wish…” “What do you wish?” “I wish I could have changed it all.” For years Bilbo has written about his adventures and told stories about his dealings with dwarves and dragons. To most it seemed like fanciful nonsense but to Bilbo it was all very real. A weight followed him home from his travels, one called regret. Now in his final moments Bilbo has a choice to make – go quietly into death’s embrace or go back again and face all the fear and pain for the chance to make things right? Of course, change is a fickle thing and not everything can be done again as Bilbo is about to find out. In the end, it may not only be salvation that he’s fighting for.

In the years since Bilbo left Erebor, he has lost his respectability, gained a nephew, and gotten on with life at Bag End. He'd left aside adventure for the comforts and peace of his little Hobbit hole, and for the love of a child who needed him. Though perhaps, adventures can yet find him.

"An adventure?" Billa Baggins, a respectable genteel hobbit of the Shire, shivered and tried to convince herself it was a shudder. In which a perfectly proper not-so-young lady whistles her reputation down the wind and finds she really is her mother's daughter.

Bilba has grown up the unwanted granddaughter of the Thain of the Kingdom of Shire but, as she rarely visits the palace, the relationship holds little meaning to her. Instead she focuses on her second year of college, her ballet career and her slowly burgeoning romance with Bofur, a crew member with her ballet company. The same day Bilba is set to preform on stage for the first time with her company, the kingdom of Shire is anticipating another event. That very evening will oversee the political, arranged marriage between Thorin Durin, Crown Prince of Erebor, and an unnamed Princess of Shire (so unnamed because Bilba's grandfather is a paranoid bastard). Bilba doesn't care about any of this, she hasn't been invited and has no interest in other countries, politics or other such machinations. Just before she's set to preform, however, Bilba suddenly finds herself dragged from the theater and taken to appear before her grandfather at the palace. There she is informed she WILL be participating in the wedding after all. As the bride. Whether she likes it or not.

When Bungo Baggins dies, Bag End and all his possessions should pass to the husband of his daughter and only child, Bilba. There is one small problem. Bilba doesn't have a husband and has never shown any inclination towards acquiring one. Bungo took account for that in his will in a manner Bilba did not expect. Luckily for her a wizard has other plans. And then things start getting complicated.

As Billanna Baggins would stare at her children, her precious daughters as different from the sun and moon, with eyes from their father, she thought of Thorin. He was with her every breath and she could still feel his touch no matter where she was.But how could she forgive what she could not forget?Maybe she should have known...that one has yet realized the wealth of sympathy, the kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. For those treasures we keep can hold a splendor to behold.

"Not so much sent to retrieve as to convince." Bilbo never expected to find the dwarves on his front step again and yet here are three asking him to return to Erebor with them when all that awaits him is pain. He took Thorin's words to heart and he refuses to set foot in the Lonely Mountain again. But what the King wants, he gets. And thats how Bilbo ended up returning to Erebor, for a... short visit that somehow becomes quite long. There might also be some magical intervention in the midst of it all.

Hawthorn Baggins was not what Thorin Oakenshield had expected when Gandalf had suggested her for the position of the company's burglar. A night in the hobbit's smial completely shatters the preconceived notions they might have had regarding the new addition to their group, which will make the journey to Erebor a rather interesting one!

Bilba Baggins couldn't be happier. She's embraced her Baggins' half and has placated her Took half with a short trip to Bree (the most adventure she ever wishes to have). In addition, she is convinced Fram Harfoot, the most eligible bachelor in all of Hobbiton, will soon declare his eternal love for her - particularly after he sees the dinner she's prepared for him. When the knock sounds on her door she just knows it heralds the first day of the rest of her life as a respectable, and entirely proper, Hobbit. Instead of her Happily Ever After, however, Bilba gets a company of Dwarves - complete with their obnoxious leader who MIGHT be vaguely attractive if he ever stopped ruining it by opening his mouth. Clearly the only possible explanation is somewhere, in a past life, she must have done something truly AWFUL to deserve this.

Waking up in a time that has long gone by is as confusing as it is terrifying. The latter especially rings true when Gimli realizes that he is going to meet people he has mourned for decades... and that he might have come here alone. Also, what if - what if he cannot change all the wrongs that happened the last time?

In a desperate attempt to make sure someone he trusts rules over Erebor, Thorin marries Bilbo on what will probably be his deathbed, as well as that of his heirs. When all three Durins survive, Thorin's marriage to Bilbo comes under scrutiny. Not everyone is happy with it.

Bilba Baggins, Hobbit Burglar of Erebor finds herself back in Bag End, young and healthy once more, she begins enjoying her afterlife in Yavannas Garden (the Hobbit equivalent to the Halls of Waiting) when thirteen familiar Dwarves turn up at her door, raid her pantry and start throwing about her dishes. Gandalf is convinced she's the right Hobbit Burglar for the job, but Bilba's done all this before and no one remembers but her. What's a Hobbit to do?

Bilbo Baggins accidentally kills Smaug and has to figure out how to go tell the Dwarrow who are waiting for him to come back with that stupid stone.

Bilbo is forced back to The Shire before the Battle of the Five Armies is over. He remembers Thorin dying in his arms but something just feels wrong inside his heart and he longs to see the mountains again. Struggling to find some peace after losing the one he loved. Bilbo resigns himself to a lifetime of loneliness but fate has a very different plan for both of them.

Bilba Baggins has returned to the Shire to find it very different from the one she left...or perhaps it is she who is different. She is a warrior returned from the battlefield to a place where the greatest threat will be not having enough scones for tea She doesn't know how she will fit back in after all she's gone through but she is willing to try. She is content with the thought of peace. The notion of living without fear of imminent death, or of something trying to eat her, is a good one. Unfortunately for Bilba, however, there is a ring whispering in her pocket, a force rising from the darkness and an evil burning in scarlet flame. And they have no intention of allowing her rest.

“Thorin, I have a weak heart. It has trouble pumping enough blood through my body. That’s why I’m always so low on energy. And…” Bilbo swallowed, forcibly keeping his eyes on the flickering flames. Thorin wasn’t moving by his side. “And it’s failing. There are healers in Greenwood who have gifts for mending hearts, but there isn’t much chance it will work. I haven’t been very responsive to any other methods, and… Well… I don’t have very long.” Bilbo dropped his eyes to his hands. He’d ripped the four-leaf clover Bofur had given him. It seemed horribly symbolic of his life. Headed to Greenwood to see the healer Thranduil, Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey hitch a ride with thirteen dwarves headed to Erebor. Bilbo had hoped it would be like the adventures he read. That there would be orcs, sword fights, torture, revenge, trolls, chases, or escapes. He had never expected miracles or true love.

After his head injury in bofta, Bilbo remembers his life as John Watson, military doctor and best friend to Sherlock Holmes. Not knowing he has been forgiven for the Arkenstone debacle, he returns to the shire. A year later, orcs destroy the Shire leaving Bilbo, Frodo and Sam the lone survivors. Bilbo takes his boys makes a life for them in Rivendell where all goes swimmingly, until a certain diplomatic envoy from Errebor arrives. Three guesses as to who it is. problem is, Bilbo is not the same soft hobbit he used to be.

Hobbits on average eat six, sometimes seven meals a day. Bilbo struggles with eating drastically less than this while on the journey to Erebor and at the same time does not wish to show his weakness.
