With a previously abusive relationship and wrists littered with scars, Dan won't let himself fall for the boy who is trying to help him. But what happens when he does? He starts falling harder than ever.

If you told Phil Lester in 2017 about the plans he made for September 30th, 2020…he would have laughed in your face. He would have told you that you were crazy and that he wouldn’t do that for “a million pounds”. But what about 14 million?

Suddenly he realizes Phil is next to him, arm around his back, holding him upright and checking his temperature by pressing his palm against his cheek. “Phil?” He whispered, once he found the breath and presence of mind to speak. “Hey, baby. I’m here, just breathe.” (Dan comes down with the stomach flu in the middle of the night. Phil cares for him.)

Dan, a quiet teenage boy that doesn't think he has much to live for quite literally runs into the punk Phil Lester. After a few unfortunate encounters, Phil might just be the best friend Dan has ever had. But after some unfortunate events, will Phil lose him? Or will Dan have to fight hard to keep him.

Dan has been depressed for a while now but he has been hiding it. One day Phil finds out and it goes downhill.

Dan Howell is a 25 year old living in London with his boyfriend, Phil Lester. He lives a fairly normal life, I mean if you count being a YouTuber as normal. Everything was going good in Dan's life, until he gets smacked with something that'll change his life forever.

I was walking the rocky paths of the campground on tremulous legs, trying to clear my head of the voices shouting at me. My eyes were blurry and colours were mixing with sounds. I could see sounds, hear colours, my brain whirling as a sense of synesthesia took over. The wind was only a zephyr, but it felt like enough to pick me up and carry me to Oz. The voices were shouting at me, taking over every sense I had. I felt like I was swimming through a tidal wave, and I would never be able to get out of it. Salt water tears falling down my cheeks, and suddenly I was swimming through memories of him, the tears enhancing the stinging pain of his presence, and I don't think I can ever forget that feeling.
