The Loss and Loveliness Linger
The Great War changed everything for Charles Xavier. Now he limps through life, lost and adrift in a world he no longer recognises. Then there is Erik, harsh, elusive, enigmatic Erik. He is everything Charles wants and everything he can't have. A servant, a German, a Jew and, of course, a man. There is another reason Charles can't have him but he won't discover it until far, far too late.
WARNING: I have tagged Problematic rather than Unhappy Ending, however, many (all?) readers may find the ending unhappy. Don't read if you can't take heartbreak. UPDATE: Tagged it as Unhappy now . . . sigh.
