The Whole Truth
“Stop it! Just stop it. None of you know what you’re talking about.”
“Your defense of your sister is admirable, but we’re only speaking truths.”
“But that’s just it. You don’t know the full truth. None of you do.”
“What are you talking about?” Feyre asked, and Nesta filled with horror. Elain wouldn't . She couldn't. She swore never to tell-
“Don’t you dare,” Nesta hissed, and she offered Elain one final glare, filled with an equal amount of pleading. She couldn’t fathom the thought of Feyre knowing her secret, she couldn’t bear the thought of them knowing. Not the full extent of what had happened, what had changed her well before the Cauldron-
“Father sold Nesta when she was 16.”
When Nesta's deepest secret is revealed at yet another tense dinner, she was sent into a spiral, desperate to escape before Feyre demanded answers. But it isn't her sister who comes to find her in the aftermath, it's someone else. Someone who might have more in common with her than she ever thought.
