Shinsou can never sleep, and Bakugou is always up early to run. Neither of them really expected... whatever they had to come out of Shinsou wanting to preserve the blissful silence that filled the campus at the crack of dawn by buying Bakugou an energy drink.

“The knife went through his fucking chest, Kirishima.” Katsuki spat his name into his face, mouth twisting into a vicious snarl, teeth and all. “You know that's where his heart is, right? And his fucking lungs? All the vital shit?” Kirishima blanched. “I-I know, I just meant—” “What, you mean to tell me that your stupid fuckin’ ass is so ignorant to forget that he lost a shit ton of blood, hah?! Yeah, it was a flippin’ knife wound, oh hoo-ray, but look at the nerd now! He’s fucking dying because of it!”

Izuku's hiding, bleeding in someone's cave and realizing too late what that dark, menacing reptilian scent meant. He's /dead/, he's so dead, he's /so/ dead, that's a dragon, a dragon right there, a /drag-- - Bunnies couldn’t do a thing to Katsuki, they’re small and weak and there’s millions of them. Perhaps this is why he’s surprised when he’s punched in the nose.

After having his dreams crushed by his idol, Izuku Midoriya feels lost and alone. Then, a very public confrontation with Bakugo has him coming to many realizations. Shedding away his fear, Midoriya realizes that his lack of quirk does not define him or his ability to be a hero and he is done apologizing for something that he can’t control. Izuku Midoriya is proud to be quirkless, and he’s going to make sure the whole world knows it. Or in which Izuku is as much of a badass as he is a genius, Nezu has added another name to very short list of humans he actually likes, and Aizawa has never been more excited to see a problem child take on the world one step at a time, not that he’ll ever admit it.

The Bakusquad (with special guests Uraraka and Todoroki) discover that Bakugou has a soulmate charm. They decide they need to find out who Bakugou got it from.

A week before the sports festival found Bakugou walking back home in the late afternoon, sunset light making his scowl even more menacing and drawing a long shadow right in front of him. Someone was walking by his side. There was no second shadow on the floor beside his own to confirm this, but if he kept his focus on the street ahead and carefully avoided trying to look to his left, he could consistently make out black hair swishing in the wind and strong arms leading to hands sunk in pants’ pockets. The edges were blurry, but there was definitely someone at his side.

In which Kaminari is bad at sexting and the Bakusquad makes a bet over it. Then everyone starts betting on them and the stakes rise, and Bakugou's so certain he'll naturally win that he doesn't even notice how much money he's adding to the pool.
