Inspired by a post on Tumblr, this is a AU story set during Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts, with one big, foul-mouthed difference. Instead of Horace Slughorn, the position of Potions professor will be taken on by...Gordon Ramsay.

After the lawsuit ruined his relationship with his team and his family, Buck ran from his life and the people he loved the most. Nine years later he returns as a changed man with a family of his own hoping to be reunited with the family he had lost. But nine years is a long time to stay away, will everything be forgotten and forgiven or has it simply been too long for them to be a family again?( i suck at summaries, please keep that in mind!) After losing his wife and struggling to raise Christopher alone in LA, Eddie's parents do the one thing that they've been threatening to do for years. Take his son away from him, leaving Eddie angry, distrustful, and a shell of who he used to be. After leaving the Seals, Buck meets someone who will change his life for the better, and someone who will change his life for the worse, leaving him desperate for escape. Both have the fight of their lives in front of them, and it's going to take the combined efforts of friends, family, and eventually, each other, to get them through it.
