The Red Thread
The Red Thread
It's said that every soul is connected to another by a red thread, and that these two souls are destined to meet. The thread, though it may tangle or stretch, will never break. That's not your experience, lucky or unlucky enough as you are to see the strings that bind people together. A red thread is developed and grown, not born, and you've worked hard to weed out any semblance of crimson that might cling to you. You pay your bills, you keep your head down, and you find whatever lost people or items you're hired to sniff out. Then the Devil of Hell's Kitchen tags along on a job, and your plan falls apart. Starts prior to Into the Ring, and loosely follows the canon timeline. There is eventually smut, so enter at your peril. Reader is never physically described but uses a false name and may be treated as an OC.

When he gets booked for the big Wayne Halloween party, however, he finds himself getting all tangled up with the Waynes, and the more fortunes he tells, the tighter the snare becomes. or: Tim just wanted to scam Gotham's elite, not end up on the Batfamily's watchlist. Tommy stumbled through the snow, ears ringing and body aching. He hadn't expected Dream to be that mad. He definitely wasn't expecting Dream to blow everything up. Right now all he expected and wanted to do was go steal all of his older brother's shit and maybe find a way to get back home along the way. What he didn't expect was to wake up frozen in the tundra without his hearing. What Techno didn't expect was to suddenly be dealing with his deaf younger brother who refused to tell him anything about what happened to him. The world works in funny and cruel ways.

“Wilbur and Tommy Craft, children of the late Angel of Death, Philza Craft, have gone missing from their home at Dream Agencies, where the number one hero Dream had been participating in the efforts to rehabilitate them. We urge all citizens—” Technoblade shut the television off, staring at the now black screen in horror. Well crap. Or, the fic in which Wilbur is fourteen and traumatized, Tommy is a chaotic six-year-old, and Technoblade would like to be retired in peace. (features Karl adopting Ranboo)

The Devil is real. A sentence Chloe Decker never believed until Lucifer Morningstar burned out her skepticism with his hellfire eyes. It's a "Hell" of a reality shift, but Chloe realizes she may not have time for gradual acceptance when she discovers that one of the bodies in her most recent murder investigation isn't human. Worse still, the next target might be Lucifer. A story that begs the question: who prays for Satan? [Post-S3 finale continuation. Deckerstar.] [COMPLETE] [NEWLY POLISHED]

And I Will Always Be There For You
And I Will Always Be There For You
One of these days, Percy was going to go to Olympus and demand the gods did something about all the monsters that ran amok. He could deal with the small ones (though, truth be told, they tended to avoid him, now), but some were insistent. Percy knew he’d made enemies with various monsters throughout his life, but this was starting to get ridiculous. “One of these days,” Annabeth said, pushing a loose strand of hair off her face, “we’re going to have a normal date.” She sounded just as annoyed as Percy felt, if not more. “I hope so,” Percy grumbled. He spun Riptide in a large arc, passing through several monsters in one go. They dissipated into dust, briefly overtaking his vision. “This is getting old.” — AKA Thirty Chapters of Hurt/Comfort, as I apparently can't do anything but make Percy suffer, one way or another.

His plan is working well enough so far; he's made it here, he's disguised as a guard, no one suspects him, now he just has to find his dad and get out. Blue eyes meet gold. A flash of recognition. Shit just got a whole lot more complicated.

Tommy's feet drag in the snow. It's so, so cold. He's so cold. His toes are freezing. His exposed shins feel like they’ve been cut open-- even the one that’s bandaged. His wings have gone numb, which is almost, almost good, because now he can’t feel the shifting, broken bones inside of the left one, just under feathers and muscle. He doesn’t know why he’s still walking. - Or, Tommy leaves the exploded ruins of Logstedshire behind, and walks until he finds somewhere safe. And things keep going from there. (A canon-divergent AU, splitting off somewhere around when Tommy started hiding out below Techno's house.)

Hurt!SpencerReid Stories
Hurt!SpencerReid Stories
Welcome to a very long series of one-shots and multipart chapters that follows Spencer Reid's journey in the BAU.I go episode by episode, looking for any potential angst or hurt/comfort moments with him and then write where I feel the cm writers might've left something out. There are tags to episodes, extras, 'what if's', and more! Some chapters are stand alone and some have multiple parts but, just like in the show, the chapters are linked to some degree with reoccurring themes. If you need an excuse to watch the series over again, or if you're watching for the very first time, I label each chapter with the season and episode number so that you can avoid spoilers (if you want)!!!I am still working on this fic (though it looks like it is complete, I did this because you could read most chapters as stand alone) and more new chapters are coming as frequently as I can put them out.Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoy!:)

Dean Winchester’s been camp manager of a science research station on the Alaskan tundra for thirteen years. Dean likes his job; fixing the camp trucks, troubleshooting the generators, keeping clueless undergrads and NSF bigwigs from walking into grizzly bears or getting lost in snowstorms — it’s all in a day’s work. It keeps him pretty busy, and this year his brother Sam's visiting too, so he's even busier. So it’s really not any of Dean’s business when some weirdo antisocial ornithologist sets up a tent a few miles away, a dark-haired blue-eyed guy who’s doing a “very long-term" study on birds or wings or something, and who never, ever takes off his big lumpy backpack. But then the new guy starts dropping by camp for coffee and... well, he’s not officially part of camp; he's not Dean’s responsibility; he’s really not Dean’s problem at all, but when a strange blizzard comes sweeping in, Dean gets worried and goes to check. Thing is, Dean's spent years in the sweeping vistas of the Arctic. He knows all about the midnight sun and the northern lights, the ice caves and avalanches, the rough-and-ready Haul Road truckers and the even rougher-and-readier wild animals. But even so, what he finds is much more than he bargained for.

He'd had a favorite cow--Henry--and made sure to milk and brush her every day. Ever since Henry was a calf, he wanted to learn how to care for her hooves so they wouldn't grow out too much. He hadn't been alive for the Great War. It had ended two years before he was born, but he heard horror stories, and was more than thankful he wouldn't have to deal with getting drafted. His life wasn't the best, but it certainly wasn't the worst! His parents weren't overly strict, and the worst punishment he ever got was being sent on outhouse duty, which was typically reserved for his father. He was sure he'd have gotten worse if he touched a drop of anny before he turned 15. (Didn't even taste that good when his father offered him a drink at the age of 16. He supposed it tasted better the more you drank.) Then the Great Depression hit. (Or, the ghost fic where Bench Trio each die in the same house ~30 years apart. SBI move into the house, and the ghosts are not pleased.)[We have a Discord now!!
