Thor takes a good look at Loki once he has hauled him back onto the quinjet, and realizes that there is something odd about Loki's eyes. Thor has grown and changed much in the last year, and no longer takes anything for granted. So he starts asking questions. It doesn't take long to figure out that Loki is not acting of his own free will. Tony Stark knows what it is to be forced to do as an enemy commands. Steve Rogers has seen the atrocities manipulative madmen are willing to commit. Clint, Logan, Bruce and Natasha have been subjected to said madmen. They all know what it is to lose themselves, and to seek redemption. Together, this band of broken heroes draws a line in the sand. They will not tolerate any tyrant, foreign or domestic. That includes Nick Fury and the WSC, who have used everyone on the team for their own aims. It includes Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, who has hunted Bruce against all reason. It includes Odin, who treats his sons like commodities. And it includes Thanos, who has delusions of conquering Earth. Along the way, they learn to trust each other. They learn to help each other. They become a family.

The day after the invasion Tony wakes up and his tower is intact again; everything is exactly the way it was before this whole mess went down. It doesn’t take him long to catch up but he can’t figure out why he’s in a time loop – so he does what anyone would: fuck things up while trying to find a way to fix this. Somewhere along the way, his priorities change and suddenly he finds himself involved neck-deep in Norse family drama, along with some other stuff.

The fight in Siberia leaves Tony in a persistent vegetive state from which he is not expected to recover.His remaining friends watch over his bedside praying for a miracle to bring him back to them while the Rogue Avenger's remain in hiding. Across the Galaxy Thanos, the Mad Titan destroys Xandar to claim the Power Stone, his next stop will be Asgard, or rather the refugee ship for the Tesseract and the Space Stone. As the Power Stone is placed into the infinity gauntlet, Tony Stark awakens from his coma with no brain damage at all, but he isn't celebrating. Something is coming, something bad, he knows it, he can feel it, and somewhere something that is somehow his is calling out to him, it's what woke him up in the first place, but what is it and why is it so important? After all there are only six infinity stones, Right?

A prisoner uses their arrival as a distraction and escapes, wreaking havoc. It turns out the prisoner is Harry Potter, wizard extraordinaire and Tony Stark's fiance, missing for almost five years. Of course Tony's not going to leave him there, and Steve Rogers can stuff his concerns. Planning to take this through Infinity War and a much-changed Endgame, unless I end things with Infinity War. But when the mental torture turns physical, and Thanos' threats begin to come true, the brothers must come together, to help one another, as well as Asgard. But what secrets will arise? What horrors must they face? And will everyone make it out alive?

She's not special. He wants to destroy half of the galaxy. She's kind of a hostage, but she's making it work. Can these two navigate this... whatever it is, without killing each other. (Or just her, he's kind of a god).
