“You want us to be friends?” Coriolanus asked unconvinced. Why would he go through all of this trouble to be friends with somebody like me?
“Yeah why not?” Sejanus smiled.
Why not? What did he mean, why not? It was an answer that didn’t satisfy Coriolanus. There was an unsettling feeling in his stomach, that he just knew that they weren’t going to be friends.
In which Sejanus finally musters the courage to talk to Coriolanus Snow. The boy he has pinned for years. Changing the course of both boys’ lives for only the better.
