Steve likes taking care of his team. It gives him focus in a confusing new world. But one member of the team never learned that it's okay to be taken care of. Until the night Tony gets a concussion, and his deepest secret - that, when he's absolutely sure he's alone, he likes to role play being a toddler - comes out into the open and affords Steve the perfect opportunity.

For the better part of a year, Steve has been obsessed with finding Bucky to the point where he's neglecting everything else - including his boyfriend, Tony. Tony puts a brave face on and acts as supportive as he can, but on the inside he's falling apart. And no one knows it until the night Tony snaps. In a fit of desperation, JARVIS calls on Phil, the only one capable of understanding because of his age play with Clint, to care for Tony. Phil might not be used to taking care of someone as little as Tony Stark, but - until Steve gets the emergency message to return - he'll be damned if he lets that stop him.

Tony and Clint are kidnapped by Hydra and drugged with something that severely lowers your inhibitions, leaving them both lost and helpless in their little headspaces. It turns out the heart of Hydra's greatest weapon can still be twisted by the tears of two little boys.

Steve found out that Phil and Clint are into Age Play. There's nothing wrong about it, but the more time he spends with little Clint, the more he wants Tony to be little too. The heart of the issue is, Steve's not sure if Tony would like the idea.

When Bucky and Steve are de-aged as part of Loki's revenge, naturally it falls to Tony to look after them. But how is a baby supposed to look after his daddies?

In the aftermath of being kidnapped by Hydra, Tony and Clint are struggling to deal with the ramifications of the drug they were dosed with: they can't stay big, but nor can they stay little: it's a slippery, uncontrollable slope. While they wait for Bruce to create a cure or for Thor to find one on Asgard, Phil and Steve decide to get their partners out of the city and away from the media. Bucky tags along.

Tony doesn't want to go back to New York. He can't face the rest of the team. Fortunately, this time he has Bucky and Steve for support: Steve isn't scared to tell SHIELD where to go, and Bucky has a few words for Natasha.

It was a pain every time Loki showed up, but all the things he had done so far seemed to be nothing when, during a battle, Tony ended up being de-aged. And if his luck wasn’t that bad already, it was his body the only thing that shrunk, because Tony was sure his mind was still pretty much the same. Having Steve and Bucky looking after him didn’t make things better or less mortifying either, though Tony couldn’t really say it made it worse.

Bucky thought he might have to threaten Steve, Wanda and maybe even Clint a few more times to get them to back off of Tony. He never thought that Wanda, in one of her childish, spoiled fits, would stoop to forcing Tony into his little headspace in public.

Right before Steve brought the shield down, Tony's control slipped and he called out for his daddy. Steve didn't think about everything he would be losing. Now Tony is left behind to try and pick up the pieces. He can't let himself be little, not around the caretaker Ross has chosen for him, but sometimes biology doesn't work the way we want it to.

The Avengers weren't the only thing that broke after civil war. Steve Rogers had enough. Everyone thought that he would kill Tony to get him out of the way - but Steve Rogers has wanted Tony to be his, wanted Tony to belong to him, from the first time he witnessed Tony maniacally working on too little sleep and no food. Given the chance, Steve can take care of him. And he knows exactly what will break Tony Stark.

Clint came to terms with his daddy occasionally babysitting Tony a long time ago; sometimes it was even fun. What's a lot less fun was admitting that he might need a babysitter when his daddy's away too. It helped a bit that Tony was feeling just as sick and little, even if he refused to admit it until he wet his pants while sneezing.

Steve and Bucky might be Tony's caregivers, but that doesn't mean Tony is ready to give up his adult life. But sometimes, when babies get sick, their daddies have to make decisions for them. No matter how much Tony whines, when he comes down with the flu, the whole team is going on a vacation so that Tony can rest and get better.

Littles are known... but that doesn't change anything for Tony Stark. As his father use to say, "Stark men are made of Iron". With the lessons from his father still engraved in his head, will Tony ever be able to conquer his past traumas? What happens when Tony's headspace finally catches up to him and what he considers his dirty little secret is revealed in front of the entire team?

It all started with what was meant to be a joking comment. Now it's the one where Tony and Bucky naturally fall into an age play relationship, and somehow Steve gets mixed up in it too.
