Simple, right? Yes, this is a Reading the Books fanfic. Yes, this is an overused trope. That being said, I really hope that I can finish this. I will be leaning into a lot of discussion about mental health in this, so keep that in mind.**May contain minor spoilers for TOA**This fic currently has NO set update schedule. Zhongli was beginning to remember why he'd kept things so brief with Barbatos, his sense of humor for a bard was lacking. Hardly anything the young man said was funny but Venti would howl with laughter at whatever expression Zhongli had made in response to his quips. He wasn't sure why eggs were suddenly so funny but the other wouldn't stop laughing and it was getting on his nerves. Zhongli is "Eggspecting" and Venti is just trying to help his dear friend adjust while narrowly avoiding catastrophe. It's soft ok? Soft dudes preparing for their egg while uncle Venti sews chaos in the background.
