There's an active shooter situation at Powell Middle School. The 118 rushes to the scene to be of assistance and to ensure the safety of Christopher Diaz and Denny Wilson, who are students there. Science teacher Evan Buckley will do whatever he can to get his students out of the situation safely, though escape seems unlikely from their position in the 3rd-floor library. Things get worse when an explosion brings part of the building down. Amidst the wreckage, he seeks to save the kids and find his sister. He winds up finding the family he never knew he always wanted. Alternate Universe fic. Things to know for the 'verse is that Buck is Christopher and Denny's science teacher at Powell Middle School. Because he isn't a firefighter, he does not know any of the 118. Maddie ended up taking a job as the school's nurse--and she never got introduced to Chimney. The rest is fairly canon. Athena and Bobby are still married. Harry is staying with his dad in Miami. TW: Most of the story will take place during the aftermath of a school shooting where explosives are set off. There are some gunshot wounds as well as other injuries described (though most not graphically).

Lucifer was continuously trying to outdo him at every turn and it had Alastor working double time to try to stay one step ahead of him. I’m not very good at that stuff” Derek utters staring down at his hands. “Like anyone is, so…?” Derek frowned “So…..?” “Why are you looking at me like that?” Scott demanded Derek scrubs a hand over his face and sighs before walking over to the sofa, next to Scott “I was hoping you could help me” he’s face looked hopeful Or Derek wants to go to the dance with Stiles, Stiles wants to go to the dance with Derek. It should be that simply, but as usual nothing ever is.
