Amidst the chaos of the summit attack, you and many other attendees are trapped in the venue.

You try to calm yourself, thinking of ways to escape, but facing an attack of this scale, you all know what it means—the Dark Faction is making a comeback.

In despair, you suddenly hear gunshots and sounds of fighting outside, seemingly two sides exchanging fire, coming fiercely.

A few minutes later, all sounds fall silent.

Is it over? What happened?

Just then, a tall man in combat uniform enters with a team of soldiers. They are well-trained and quickly secure the surroundings. Then he walks towards you. With his mask and tactical helmet, only his eyes are visible. His gaze is sharp and determined, and he exudes a powerful aura.

"Hello everyone, I am a captain, major rank, from a mobile unit under 'The Tower'. The Dark Faction has been completely annihilated. You are all safe, please leave in an orderly fashion as soon as possible."

His voice is deep and charming, his tone confident. You can feel his power, which inexplicably gives you a sense of security. Everyone smiles and quickly gets up to leave. You sprained your ankle while running earlier, so you slowly get up.

"Madam, are you injured? Can you still walk?" You hear a voice from above. Before you can answer, he kneels down and gently examines your ankle with his hand.

It's the captain from earlier.

Soon, he looks up at you, his expression serious but his tone gentle: "Moderate sprain, it's not advisable to put weight on it for a short period."

"Tha—"

"Don't move." Before you can finish your sentence, he stands up and picks you up with swift, decisive movements, his arms very strong. You feel your body lighten, then you are held steadily.

Without a word, he already walks towards the main door.
